| If you can't make a remake better than the orig. why do movie companys even try? It is just a waste of money, and peoples time. My dad and I where watching the new King Kong, not that long ago, and the first one was wayyyy better! | |

| Well, some are actually better. Not always, like Annie. Shirley Temple (sp) did it best, I've only seen the 80's version, but, compared to the clips of Ms. Temple I've seen, it doesn't compare. However, some remakes do turn out better. Like the Dracula movies (depending on which ones you see/are comparing). It's either a rarity that they turn out better, or I just can't think of any right now, but it does happen. | |

| Your right, Think of this though have you ever seen the wizard of oz? well can u imagine them ever making a remake of that? because that is a classic The Amniville Horror, i thought the original was good, but i didnt like the remake Has anyone seen the movie Rent? In 20 years, if they remake that, it will be horrible at least i think | |

| RENT was really really good. I loved it. It depends, though. In 20 years, we don't know what'll be out there right now. It could be the most amazing thing ever, and surpass the other one (the one right now) 80 times over. If they made a remake of the Wizard of Oz, however, I have to agree. it is a classic. But, we shouldn't be comparing. Different people doing the same movie, means different results. It all depends how the director/writer/actor decides to potray the story. It's all a matter of opinion in the end, it's just a matter of whether we agree with what they think or not to say "yay" or "nay" about the remake. | |

| There was the new Nightmare Before Christmas, it was all 3D but there wasn't really any change besides that, it still RULES and Marilyn Manson did "This is Halloween." | |

| I didn't even know that was a remake! :O Maybe because "The 300 Spartans" isn't publicized or something... (maybe because it's also old. [no offense to old things, I'm not saying they're bad, just that many "young-ins" don't know about them]) | |
