New Layout

As you can see, we have changed the layout to the forum. This may be temporary, or permanent depending on feedback.

I think it looks really good.
I liked the first look, but I think the brighter and blue look looks better. It brightens the forum up.

I personally think that the layout looks too generic, and almost like a default setting that you were too lazy to change. No offense is intended, but the old layout gave the impression of uniqueness, and was easier on the eyes. (This layout is too bright for my taste, the other one was easier to read/see, that is what I mean by "easier on the eyes".)

I'll work on making it darker. Just later. A darker shade of blue maybe.

It's not so much the blue as it is the white. Even the blue and grey layout is better.

for now we need this to look bright, cheery and clean...

i like the macinscott one but thats mac-ish and this is about amsa...

but the subsilver themes are nice... like the black one

You should try to make the colors AMSA colors. Just try to be conservative, because those colors can clash like saurkraut and sugar. (yes, it's a weird analogy. My second choice, because the first was a little uncalled for)

It could work very nicely. But the fact that the site is hosted is another limiter, again. You might not be able to make your own layout.

Dude, very nice, VERY nice. Just work out some of the text bugs (the headers are white on light powder blue, not good), and it'll be fine. You should also change the scroll bar, but, if you keep the light blue, and don't go for an underwater theme, it'll be very nice.

Oh, but I think the language is off for the buttons. Isn't that french or something? Yes, I think it's french.

yeah...you needa change the topic text color. white on white(er...almost white) isnt good, you have to lower your head to see. and...what scroll bar?

which grey? there are a LOT of colors.

nevermind, the grey is lighter again. but on the page, with the groups the yellows arent easy to read. and dont look good.

I think the old one was fine. Maybe if you have the black.grey backround, with other stuff. So instead of everything being black maybe it could be the black.grey backround, with the AMSA symbol every few spots. So it would be *cheerful for the adults* but it would also be something that we would like.

You know what, I think that the layout shouldn't be so big. That might be one of the reasons (one, not all) why I always think it's garish.

Yes i DID say i liked it, but this WILL be our permanent layout, the colors might change and everything, but THIS is our NEW and FINAL layout.

How about a lightish, pastelly blue and grey color code? It can turn out professional.

I'm already working on it. Worry not. I just need to fix up some kinks with the new layout, then start coding everything. If I actually try, it'll take me about...1-2 days. If I really get into it. It won't take too long.
