| If someone doesnt want anyone else to know who they are, thats ok. Its their choice. It does matter because on a lot of forums, people want to be a secret, because of their opinion on something. But if they don't care about what other people think, then they can say their names. It is up to them. I think that we should treat the admins with more respect, because they made the forum, for us, and they are making it the best they can, and if the admins didnt work so hard on it, then we wouldnt even have a forum... | |

And also, the admins can ban you if you don't treat them with respect.

| Yeah, well im being pretty lenient on the rules. And once this forum becomes hardcore, then we'll see. Im going to make something like the AMSA handbook. But with better spelling and smaller. | |

| Maybe if you give flyers for back pack express, you can put in big bold letters the rules. and make it clear. and the handbook, because that would be kool | |

| Are you able to seperate the topics when viewed in the forum, so that the important ones can be sort of in their own section at the top? Then, you could put the rules to each forum at the top. | |

| well i did an invisionboard forum(which you CAN put additional comments with coding) , not niceboard, but i would think it is too hard to do.
On an invisionboard forum, I can code my forum so that you have to read the rules before registering a forum.
Also, on forums, there are obviously rules. I mean, kids have to use their head. Not making signatures 100000x100000 ... no swearing DUH... no gothic bad stuff.
These are very simple rules and if someone wants to complain, then they dont belong on a forum. |

| Rules vary from forum to forum. I've seen forums where a lot of their topics (not TOO many, but some) have the f-word in it, b-word, etc. Other forums have sexual related topics, while others are the most kid friendly things you have ever seen. And the forums with swears and other things doesn't make them bad forums. They're just very lieniant, (sp) and/or they allow it in the rules.
You could put the rules in that little update box thing on the homepage.

| maybe we should just have a group called "sixth grade" than 6A,B,C,D,E, and F... it would save a lot of space.

| well, for now we'll just leave them, because we're gonna try to get more 6th graders to join (next year if we have to). and sorry to confuse everyone, from now on, edits in bold beginning with ADMIN (eg ADMIN: don't do that) are me talking to the person posting it. | |
