Fullmetal Alchemist

I just started reading a manga series called Fullmetal Alchemist, it rules...yay.

the goal of the series is for the brothers to find the other one's body? or...the elixer of life?

So many people love it, it's really become one of those main stream mangas now. I sort of want to read it.

But I read the manga, not watch the show, freak.

oh my god i hate how there are sooo many people who like naruto because they saw the show. i started reading the manga when it first came out. they think that they're hardecore fans cuz they watch the show every week. i hate those kindes of people.

I never suggested that you watched the show. I'm simply saying that it has become one of those main stream mangas like naruto, bleach, (somewhat) fruits basket, etc. with a very large, almost overwhelming, fanbase, and is practically a fundemental of the manga/anime world. You clearly stated that you read the manga before, I never said anything about the show.

I agree. It does get annoying when people who just watch the show, and have no concept of the manga plotline (which technically is the real plotline [unless it was a manga developed on the anime], and the anime is just an adaptation that's usually shortened.), call themselves die-hard fans of the series. Maybe the anime show, but not the series itself.

well. i think that makes the anime series good. if you can have people just suddenly start watching halfway thru then you have a good anime series going.

People can be able to just start watching halfway through if you give a "what happened/what the series is about!" before the episode begins. Fruits Basket does it, and there are too many fans to count.

Sadly, but, as I said before, it is a little overwhelming. Google image search "anime" if your brave. (Yes, hentai, yaoi, and yuri are on there...it's nasty. -.-) On the first page, there's a FMA related link. (you might have to look somewhat, but it is there)

Why I said, "If you're brave"? Well, some people don't want to see anime...you know.(I can't say the word or it'll block it) I'm included in that party.

i do not include hent** with anime when i say it... you might, but then again... everyone associates things differently.

All hentai is anime/manga, but not all anime/manga is hentai.
